Slogan and photography competitions prize-presentation ceremony

The slogan & photography competitions were organized in summer 2007. Titled with “Hong Kong – Empowered by Creativity”, the competitions aimed at encouraging Youth Ambassadors to use their pens and cameras in expressing their creative minds and enhancing the awareness of their peers and the general public in intellectual property rights protection.

All the entries were evaluated by an assessment panel which comprised seven copyright owner representatives [IFPI(Hong Kong Group), Motion Picture Industry Association, Motion Picture Association, Television Broadcasts Limited, Asia Television Limited, Hong Kong Comics & Animation Federation and Entertainment Software Association] as well as a Customs official (Senior Superintendent of Intellectual Property Investigation Bureau) in early September. The prize-presentation ceremony was held on 16th October 2007, during which Customs officials, industry representatives, coordinators of the youth uniformed groups and the winning Youth Ambassadors gathered together to enjoy a relaxing reunion.
