Youth Ambassadors Visited Customs and Excise Training School

160 Youth Ambassadors from 13 Youth Uniformed Groups under the Youth Ambassador Scheme visited the Customs and Excise Training School (CETS) located in Tuen Mun on 6 August 2014.

The participants were divided into four groups and visited the ex-Customs Museum, the recently built Professional Development Training Block and the dormitory for trainees so as to experience lives of trainees in CETS. Last but not least, officers partnered with detector dogs from Customs Detector Dog Division demonstrated their daily work to participants.

The Youth Ambassadors showed great interest in Customs work. Through the interactive question and answer session on Customs core duties, the Youth Ambassadors had a better understanding of Customs responsibilities as well the scope of enforcement.
